Virtual bookkeeping for nonprofits

Your nonprofit. Your location. A connected financial partner.

Virtual bookkeeping gives your nonprofit a dedicated accounting relationship without requiring a local office visit or an in-house hire. Hezlep Bookkeeping + Advisory works with organizations across the United States through shared records, scheduled conversations, and a defined monthly close.

Talk about your needs

A defined scope. Clear ownership. Dependable follow-through.

  • 01Remote onboarding and a review of your existing accounting setup
  • 02An agreed method for sharing documents and providing access
  • 03Transaction review, reconciliations, and monthly close tasks
  • 04Reporting shaped around your funds, programs, and grants
  • 05Scheduled check-ins and clearly assigned open questions
  • 06A transition plan and a defined scope before work begins

Accounting support should make the organization easier to lead.

01

A relationship beyond geography

Choose nonprofit experience and the right working relationship, rather than limiting the search to your immediate area.

02

Less scattered work

Know where to send documents, who needs to answer a question, and when to expect reports.

03

Room to grow

Add controller oversight or CFO advisory as the organization’s complexity and decisions change.

A practical transition, not a disruptive reset.

We work virtually with nonprofits across the United States. We learn your current operation, agree on responsibilities and deadlines, and build a rhythm your team can rely on.

01

Assess the starting point

We review your systems, recent reports, reconciliation status, and current responsibilities.

02

Agree on the handoff

We set the scope, fee, access requirements, communication cadence, and first reporting milestone.

03

Build consistency

Recurring requests and monthly reporting follow a shared calendar, with questions addressed along the way.

A clearer picture before we begin.

Do you serve nonprofits outside Atlanta or Georgia?+

Yes. Our virtual bookkeeping and advisory services are available to nonprofits across the United States. Meetings and the recurring accounting workflow are organized remotely.

Do we have to change accounting software?+

Not automatically. We review your current software, integrations, and reporting needs before recommending a change. Any migration or additional software cost is discussed as part of the scope.

How do we share access and documents?+

We agree on the appropriate account permissions and document-sharing process during onboarding. Use named accounts and approved sharing tools; do not send passwords, banking credentials, or sensitive financial records through an initial inquiry email.

Is the client portal part of the service?+

The portal is an evolving part of the Hezlep Bookkeeping + Advisory client experience. The public demonstration uses fictional sample data; available features and your organization’s access are confirmed during engagement planning.

Your next chapter starts with clearer books.
